U.S. Poultry & Egg Association
The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is the world's largest and most active poultry organization. They represent the entire industry as an "All Feather" association. Membership includes producers and processors of broilers, turkeys, ducks, eggs, and breeding stock, as well as allied companies. Formed in 1947, the association has affiliations in 27 states and member companies worldwide. U.S. Poultry also sponsors the International Poultry Expo.
The National Chicken Council
The National Chicken Council (NCC), based in Washington, D.C., is the national, non-profit trade association representing the U.S. chicken industry. NCC is a full-service trade association that promotes and protects the interests of the chicken industry and is the industry's voice before Congress and federal agencies. NCC member companies include chicken producer / processors, poultry distributors, and allied industry firms. The producer / processors account for approximately 95 percent of the chickens produced in the United States.
The Poultry Federation
The Poultry Federation (TPF) is a tri-state association (Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma) representing the poultry and egg industry. TPF promotes and protects the interests of the industry and represents a unified voice in state governments.
Virginia Poultry Federation
Virginia Poultry Federation is a non-profit, statewide trade association founded in 1925. VPF represents all sectors of the poultry industry, from farmers, to processors, to businesses that provide goods and services to poultry industry. VPF's mission is to promote a positive business climate for the poultry and egg industry in Virginia through effective government and public relations, youth programs, membership services, and educational activities.
Alabama Poultry & Egg Association
The mission of the AP&EA is to serve the common interest of the Alabama poultry industry through education, communication, research and public affairs involvement.
Delmarva Poultry Industry
DPI is the nonprofit trade association working for the continued progress of the meat chicken industry in Delaware, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. In existence since 1948, DPI's members include more than 1,000 farm families raising chickens, five companies producing birds on Delmarva, and hundreds of chicken company employees, hundreds of allied industry suppliers of products and services, and Delmarva-based, non-chicken businesses that recognize the important work DPI does to keep the local chicken industry strong.
International Association for Food Protection
IAFP is a member-based association of more than 4,000 food safety professionals committed to Advancing Food Safety Worldwide® by providing food safety professionals worldwide with a forum to exchange, protecting the food supply.
